Corkickle Pillar Box cleared on Week days 5 25 p.m., on Sundays, 4 10 p.m. The pillar boxes at Bransty Arch, the middle of Duke Street, and Preston Street, are cleared at 2 10 p.m. and 5 30 p.m. daily, and on Sundays at 4 20 p.m.
Money order and Savings’ Bank business transacted first five days from 9 a.m. to six p.m., and on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The delivery at the counter commences at 9 15 a.m. & 9 p.m., by letter carriers at 9 35 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily. On Sundays, at the counter and by carriera at 12 45 p.m.
The receiving box closes at fifteen minutes before each dispatch; late letters are received, having extra postage stamps affixed thereon, up to within five minutes of the departure of the mail.
For Belfast and North of Ireland, a bag is dispatched by every steamer; but no letters will go unless marked “By Private Ship.”
For Ramsey, Isle of Man, a bag is dispatched by every Steamer. Letters for the Island, posted up to fifteen minutes before the hour of sailing, are forwarded by this route.
