At Dilton Chapelry, on the 19th ult., Mr. John VINCENT, aged eighty-six, to Mrs. Mary BODMAN, aged eighty-three. The old lady laughed heartily when the minister read that part of the service, 'thy children shall be like olive branches round thy table.'


On the 17th ult., Mrs. Mary FAULDER, relict of the late Mr. John FAULDER, Boustead Hill, aged 83.

On Friday week, at Hunsonby, in the parish of Addingham, Thomas, eldest son of Mr. Thomas BENSON, in the 32nd year of his age. His death is deeply regretted by a numerous circle of friends, to whom his mild and amiable disposition had endeared him.

At Winskill, in the Township of Hunsonby, on Friday week, William WATSON, plasterer, aged 82 years.

On Monday, the 2nd instant, Catherine Shepherd, the youngest daughter of the Rev. James BILSON, of Duke-street, Whitehaven.

At Whitehaven, on Tuesday week, Mrs. Elizabeth GALE, aged 44 years.
