VALUABLE FREEHOLD ESTATE CALLED
SOUTHFIELD, IN WHICHAM, FOR SALE.

To be sold by auction, at the house of Mr. MYERS, the Albert Hotel, in
Silcroft, on Tuesday, the 26th day of October, 1869, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon,
together or in lots, as may be agreed upon at the time of the sale, and 
subject to such conditions of sale as shall be then produced, all that Valuable
Freehold estate, called and known by the name of Southfield, situate in the
parish of Whicham, Cumberland, consisting of Dwelling-House, Farm Buildings,
Garden, and several Closes or Inclosures of Land, containing by admeasurement, 49
acres or thereabouts, be the same more or less, and now in the occupation of
Mrs. COWARD, as tenant.

The Estate comprises good Arable, Pasture and Meadow Land, and is situate
about one mile from Silecroft Railway Station, and three miles from the town of
Millom, where there is a considerable demand for Agricultural produce.

The tenant will show the premises, and further information may be obtained
from Mr. James M'CLELLAN, painter, Egremont, Mr. John PORTER of Holmrook, or at
the office of Mr. John MASON, Solicitor, Whitehaven.

VALUABLE FREEHOLD ESTATE AT EAGLES-
FIELD, IN THE PARISH OF BRIGHAM, IN THE
COUNTY OF CUMBERLAND, FOR SALE.

To be Sold by Public Auction, at the Globe Hotel, Cockermouth, on Wednesday,
the 20th October, 1869, at Four o'clock in the afternoon, by order of the
Assignees and Mortgagees of Mr. John TOMLINSON, of Whitehaven, Corn Merchant,
together or in lots, and subject to such conditions as may be agreed upon at the
time of sale. All that Valuable Freehold Messuage, Dwelling-house and Farm,
situate at or near Eaglesfield, in the parish of Brigham, in the County of
Cumberland, and called Top of Bank, comnsisting of Dwelling-House, Outbuildings,
Garden and several closes of land, containing by admeasurement 16 acres or
thereabouts, be the same more or less, and now in the occupation of John DOCKWRAY as
tenant.

This estate consists of Arable, Pasture and Meadow Land, is situate in a
flourishing agricultural district and within 2  1/2 miles of the market town of
Cockermouth.

The tenant will show the land and premises; and further information may be
had in the meantime  by applying to Messrs. Robinson RIGG, Joseph Charters
BROWN, and John KITCHIN, of Whitehaven, the Assignees; or to Messrs. LUMB and
HOWSON, Solicitors, Whitehaven.
