The following is the report of the directors for the year ending the
17th October: -
The director have pleasure in submitting their ninth annual report and
statement of accounts. The trading profits for the year again is very
satisfactory, the business continuing at the same high level of prosperity. During
the year all the properties of the company have been maintained in excellent
condition. The value of the properties having so largely increased since the
formation of the company, the directors considered that the time had arrived when
a revaluation should be made. They accordingly instructed Messrs. J. & J.
KENDALL, of Maryport, to make the revaluation as of October 17th, 1902, and the
result shows the very gratifying increase of £8,680 11s 5d as will be seen on
reference to the balance sheet.
We understand that a special extraordinary meeting of the shareholders
will be held shortly when a proposition to duplicate the shares will be made.
