To be Sold by Auction, by Mr. ALFRED COWARD, at the Beckside Schoolroom, Kirkby-in-Furness, on Wednesday, September the 3rd, 1913, at 3.30pm, in the following or such Lots as may be decided upon, and subject to such Conditions of Sale as shall be then read and produced: -
Lot 1.  -   all that Desirable Estate or Farm, called "Gill Beck," situate in the Parish of Kirkby Ireleth, in the County of Lancaster,  consisting of Good Farm-House, Farm Buildings, and 13 Acres 0 Roods 27 Perches or thereabouts of Excellent Grazing Land, as now in the occupation of Mr. LEONARD SYKES.  The Land is of Old Pasture and in Healthy Condition;  the Farm-House is Charmingly Situated, and commands an uninterrupted view of the Cumberland and Lancashire Mountains and the Duddon Estuary.
Lot 2.
All that Freehold Estate or Farm, known as "Head Cragg<" situate in the said Parish of Kirkby Ireleth, comprising Good Dwelling-House, Farm Buildings, and 15 Acres, 0 Roods, 16 Perches, of Arable and Pasture Land including Dales or allotments on Angerton Moss, together with 4 1/2 Sheep Grasses on the Sandside Marsh, Appurtenant to the said Estate, as the same are now in the Occupation of Mr. RICHARD CARTMELL.  The Land is compact, mostly lying within a Ring Fence, and of Excellent Quality and Cultivation.  The Head Cragg Estate is situate within 200 yards of Kirkby Railway Station, and convenient to the Market Towns of Barrow and Ulverston.
