To be sold by public auction on Wednesday the 9th day of October 1844, at the house of Mr. JOSEPH JOHNSTON, Golden Lion Inn, Croglin, in the County of Cumberland, at 7 o'clock in the evening.
All that customary messuage, known by the sign of the Golden Lion Inn, with the out offices and cottages thereto adjoining, situate at Croglin aforesaid.
And also all that messuage or tenement consisting of two dwelling houses, stables, barns, byer, garden, and inclosures of land, containing *1 acres (most likely 11 or 41 acres) and 2 roods, and known by the name of Longlands Head, Low Raisdale, Middle Raisdale, and High Raisdale, situate at Croglin, aforesaid.  And also all the Cattle Gate, or Stint, in Croglin Coombes, situate at Croglin aforesaid.
*** whole of the said premises are in the occupation of Mr. JOSEPH JOHNSTON, who will show the **** (fold in paper).
