By Private Contract, or let for a term of years and entered upon at May Day,
1845,

All that old established and well accustomed brewery called ALSTON BREWERY,
situate at Alston, in the County of Cumberland, with the messuage or
dwelling house, garden, meadow field, pasture, cottages, malting houses,
stables, and buildings adjoining thereto, and the plant, vats, casks, and
all other utensils and materials belonging to the said brewery.

And also, three well accustomed inns, or public houses, situate in Alston
aforesaid called the ROYAL OAK, the GREYHOUND, and the DUN COW.

And also, all that tenement or farm hold, called CLARGILL HEAD FARM, situate
near Alston, and containing upwards of 175 acres.

And also, several cottages or dwelling houses, situate in Alston aforesaid,
and certain allotments, plots or parcels of land, situate in the Parish of
Alston.
