School, intends, after the Christmas vacation, to OPEN a BOARDIING AND DAY
SCHOOL AT SOCKBRIDGE HOUSE, NEAR PENRITH.
Sockbridge House is large and commodious, is situate in a healthy locality,
stands detached, and is well adapted for the above purpose.
The course will include thorough English, Bookkeeping, Languages,
Higher Mathematics, Land Surveying (practical with Planning). Pupils
prepared for the Civil Service and Middle Class Examinations. The Diet will
be liberal. Boarders taken weekly or yearly.
