The splendid portrait of Mr. JOHN RAMSHAY, of Naworth Castle, painted by Mr. GIBSON, (and which attracted so much attention in Mr. THURNAM'S print  ****  for some time past), was presented to that ************** at the Howards' Arms, Brampton, under the able presiding of JAMES PARKIN, Esq.  It cannot but be gratifying to Mr. JOHN RAMSHAY, to have such a valuable token of respect, voluntarily presented to him, as it shows the esteem in which he is held by all who have the pleasure of his acquaintance.
