HOUSE OF LORDS
Thursday being the day to which the Imperial Parliament of the United Kingdom stood prorogued, both houses met pro forma, the Commons being represented by the principal clerks and officers of the House.
The Lord Chancellor, the Earl of Liverpool, the Earl of Delawarr, were the lords Commissioners, and the ceremony occupied only a few minutes. There was not a single member of either house present, except the three Lord Commissioners. The prorogation is to Tuesday, November 14.
