preached in the Wesleyan Chapel, Workington, on Sunday last.
Sermons were preached morning and evening by the Rev. J. KERNICK, the
junior minister for the Workington circuit and a returned missionary from the West
Indies.
On Tuesday evening the annual meeting was held in the chapel. Mr. C. J.
VALENTINE presided. The meeting was addressed by the Rev. J. KERNICK, and the
Rev. Richard ROBERTS, of London.
From the report, which was read by Mr. J. MANDALE at the conclusion of the
meeting, it appeared that the collections this year show an increase over
those of last year of £9. The total collections this year amount to £23 3s.
