On Sunday last two excellent sermons were preached in connection  with the
anniversary of the Primitive Methodist Mission, Grasslot, by Miss. Mary  RIDLEY,
of Prospect. The attendance at both services was large.

 On Tuesday the annual tea meeting was held, the tables being presided  over
by:

Mrs. FRASER

Mrs. JOHNSTONE.

 There was a fair attendance. In the evening a public meeting was held  
presided over by Mr. Thomas MANDLE. Addresses were delivered by:

Rev. J. EASTWOOD

Mrs. RIDLEY

Mr. H. MARSHALL

Mr. J. ROOK

Mr. W. BURROW.

 Collections were taken at each service in aid of the mission fund. A  choir
of singers from Maryport under the leadership of Mr. George RITSON, sang  
several pieces during the evening.
