                                     STATE OF THE COUNTRY.

Another individual, charged with being concerned in the late conflagrations
here, was apprehended on Thursday. His name is NIGHTINGALE, and he is also a
weaver. On that day, the four then in custody, viz. MENDHAM, THURSBY,
LIVINGSTON, and NIGHTINGALE, underwent a final examination before the
magistrate, and were all fully committed to take their trial for this capital
felony. There are others, we understand, against whom information has been
received, who it is supposed have fled. - Carlisle Patriot.
