RECHABITE EXCURSION FROM
PARTON.
___
A group of the members of the Perseverance Tent of Rechabites, Parton, held their annual outing on Monday to Kirkstile.
A large wagon conveyed 21 members and friends to this favourite resort. Though the weather conditions were not all that could have been desired, the drive by Cockermouth and Lorton was highly enjoyed.
On arrival, they put up at the Kirkstile Hotel, where their needs were amply supplied, and the excellent fare provided was much enjoyed.
Despite the conditions the party enjoyed a ramble by the shores of Crummock Lake, and admired their surroundings. The return was made by Lamplugh and Frizington, and accomplished in good time, all being well pleased with the outing.
