The ship-owners of Whitehaven have resolved, in a meeting lately held in that
town, not to employ any of the shipwrights now connected with the Cumberland
Shipwrights' Union, "during such times as the differences now in existence
betwixt them and the master builders remain unadjusted." - Carlisle Journal.
