On Sunday last, the Rev. H.H. HARRIS, Vicar of All-hallows, at the close of his sermon, both morning and evening, stated that it having been thought many persons might be disposed to contribute small sums to this fund if they had the opportunity of doing so, he had, during the past week, solicited and received such subscriptions from a few of his parishioners, and that he intended during the ensuing week to wait upon others with the same object in view. We are glad to say that we understand the rev gentleman is meeting with a very fair measure of success.
