Last Sunday the anniversary services connected with this church were held, the Rev. W. THOMAS, of Leeds, preaching morning and evening to large congregations.  On Monday evening the annual public meeting was held in the church.  The Re. W.A. WRIGLEY occupied the chair, and was surrounded by the Rev. W. THOMAS, the Rev. J.H. BOYD, the Rev. J. CHRISTIE, the Rev. J. MITCHELL (Wigton), the Rev. R. AMOS, the Rev. J.R. BAILEY and others.  the Rev. W. THOMAS delivered a lecture on a recent journey to Syra, Smyrna, and Ephesses.  Several anthems were sung by the choir.
        The treasurer of the Carlisle Dispensary acknowledges with thanks the receipt of £2 from Mr. E.P. SHELDON, who has become an annual subscriber of that amount to the funds of this institution.
