-- Between February 1 and February 10 meetings have been held in the Rural Deanery of Wigton, with most satisfactory results. The parish clergyman presided in each case. Mr. JONES, the agent of the society for the diocese, addressed the meetings, and much interest was evinced in the vigorous lectures delivered by him. The meetings at Wigton, Silloth, and Dalston were, of course, the largest; but at Long Newton, Westward, Bromfield, and Aikton the attendance was quite in proportion to that at the more populous places. There are about four branches in the deanery, and others are about to be formed.
