THE TITIENS' CONCERT. -- Madlle. TITIENS, with a distinguished party, will give a concert in the Victoria Hall this evening.  The programme comprises some of the most admired pieces, the prima dona herself appearing in "Ocean, thou mighty monster" (from Oberon),

the song, "It was a dream," the air from Euryanthe, "Glocklein in Thale,"  &c.  Madlle. TITIENS is, we are informed, in magnificent voice; and Madlle. Agnes BONN possesses a wonderful contralto voice.  The other members of the party, with the exception of Mons MUSIN, are more or less known in the neighbourhood.  The talented violinist is a Belgian by birth, and has just completed a continental tour with a company which included Madlle PATTI.  The party gave a grand concert in Newcastle Town Hall on Wednesday evening.  There was a splendid audience, and yesterday's Newcastle Journal says -- "So frequent were the encores that the concert was prolonged to nearly eleven o'clock.  Madlle. TITIENS, who was in excellent voice, was encored after every appearance, and on each occasion kindly responded. In complying with an encore, after singing L'Ardita, the last item with which her name was connected on the programme, she was rewarded with hearty cheering, and sung Kathleen Mavourneen.  The other vocalists were also warmly encored, and M. MUSIN'S marvellous violin performances created an extraordinary amount of enthusiasm."
