The Distington Presbyterian Sunday scholars had their annual trip on Monday. Six well filled wagonettes left Distington about ten o’clock for Allonby. They went by way of Workington and Maryport, Allonby being reached about midday.
A pleasant time was spent on the shore till tea time, the day being gloriously fine. After tea games were enjoyed on the green as well as the shore.
Home was reached shortly after ten o’clock. Mr. FREAR supplied the wagonettes.
