SECOND CROP OF
HAY AT BOOTLE.
With the continued dry weather, which is having a rather adverse effect upon the grass crops, it is rather surprising to hear of a good second crop of meadow hay being obtained; nevertheless Mr. Thomas HARRISON of Brookfield, Bootle, has been fortunate to get an excellent second crop of hay from the meadow known as Dove Cote, which is situated near the Rectory at Bootle.
Mr. HARRISON was fortunate to get the first crop in very early, and this was housed in excellent condition, the crop being above average. He is to be congratulated in having been able to get such a good second crop in.
